Story
Santosh (Viraj Ashwin) is a happy man who works in an advertising agency in Hyderabad. His girlfriend Nithya (Poojita Ponnada) surprises him by joining the office and becoming the leader of his team. Things get complicated when Santosh’s special interest (Madhu Nandan) starts lusting after him day after day. This upsets Santosh, who also has to pay his father’s bills. Has Santosh solved his love and money problems? How did he handle everything? The movie has the answers.
Technical Aspects
Writer-director Anu Prasad finds it hard to leave a strong impression. They wanted to tell them that the love story didn’t quite hit the emotional mark they were aiming for.
Praneeth Mujic’s music is decent, nothing outstanding. Cinematographer Mahi Reddy Pandugala with the help of the production team makes the film visually appealing. The setup is good, but there is room for improvement, especially at the end.
Review
Despite its promising title and catchy teaser and trailer, Jorugaa Husharugaa fails to deliver the expected excitement. Director Anu Prasad’s harrowing story overlaps the spirited performances of Viraj Ashwin, Poojita and Madhunandan, and is noticeably weak. The clear and exciting essence promised by the title seems conspicuously missing from the filmmaking.
