Story
Surya (Suhaas), the radio jokey (RJ), suffers from prosopagnosia, also known as Face Blindness, which prevents him from recognizing only his friend Vignesh (Harsh Chemudu) and his girlfriend Adhya (Payal Radhakrishnan) who are near and dear to him even knows about his situation.
One fateful night, he becomes the only witness to a murder but is unable to identify the perpetrator due to his position. Seeking help, he approaches ACP Vaidehi (Rashi Singh), but circumstances turn against him. What is revealed next? Were the police able to identify the culprits? Whatever his situation, did the sun play a key role in breaking the story? Show this intense story in different theaters and unravel the mysteries.
Plus Point
Suhas does a great job acting as someone who has a hard time recognizing faces, even though he is already a successful actor.
Rashi Singh made a bold choice to play a negative role, and she showed she can do more than just play the typical heroine.
Payal Radhakrishna and Harsha Chemudu gave decent performances, while Nitin Prasanna stood out in his role. The other supporting actors also did a good job.
The movie has a surprising twist at the interval and a couple of thrilling moments in the second half.
Minus Point
While the film has an interesting story concept, it fails to maintain an exciting pace throughout. This hurts the overall impact of the film. A stronger script, especially in the second half, would have made the film more effective.
Rashi Singh’s character arc could have been done in a better way, missing some important scenes and not fulfilling expectations.
The romantic subplot feels out of place in a film trying to find a serious tone. The flashbacks of the murder are very similar to the popular Telugu movies.
Technical Analysis
The first-time director Arjun YK shows potential, but needs to focus more on keeping the screenplay tight and maintaining a fast pace.
The music score by Vijay Bulganin enhances important scenes, and the cinematography by S Chandrasekaran and editing by Karthika Srinivas are satisfactory. The production values are decent, though a shorter runtime would have improved the viewing experience.

Overall, Prasanna Vadanam delivers an average entertaining cinematic experience. Suhas gives a decent performance and Rashi Singh does a good job in his negative role. Some of the modes are worth the price of admission, but issues with pacing and unnecessary scenes may turn some people off.
